‘A furniture maker’s life is full of repetition. I’ve tried to make a virtue of this “problem” by emphasising rather than resisting it. My work is therefore often composed of multiple and layered components. Over the years, these works have become ever-more complex, involving more components, shaped in increasingly complex ways.’
